Why ‘PROVENT’ Cap is advantageous over Conventional Vent Caps?

Basic Flaw in Conventional Vent Plugs-

1. Loss of electrolyte due to vehicle movement.
2. Does not check loss of acid mist at higher temperatures.

Things to Remember:

Maintaining Electrolyte Levels in Batteries with ‘Provent’ Cap: It is important to check the electrolyte level in your batteries (assuming your Provent Cap is working correctly). The electrolyte level gradually becomes lower due to the electrolysis of the water into oxygen and hydrogen. This is a normal and necessary process in charging a lead acid battery.
